A touch monitor is an input device, which allows the computer user easier and faster handling by only touching the screen. Touch technology is useable in a broad selection of applications. Touch monitors can easily be used with the majority of computer systems and can fully substitute mouse or trackball. They are most useful at POS (points of sale), in restaurants or shops, furthermore as control panel in industry, or as production control device.
