We visited our client, Rustonka, in Prague's Karlín district and spoke with manager Tomáš Sloboda about their experience with the Magpie24 self-service kiosks.
Every day, Rustonka serves approximately 700 guests from surrounding office buildings. During the lunchtime peak, checkout speed is absolutely crucial. This is precisely why the management decided to expand their point-of-sale solution with self-service kiosks.
According to Tomáš Sloboda, deploying the kiosks has primarily led to faster customer checkout and better staff utilization. Employees no longer have to focus solely on operating a single cash register; instead, they can assist customers at multiple kiosks simultaneously.
He also spoke positively about the implementation process itself. Thanks to prior testing and close cooperation between POWER and the POS system provider, the launch went smoothly without any major complications.
Customers have gradually grown accustomed to the new checkout method. Guests especially appreciate the speed and simplicity of the self-service solution.
