At POWER, we designed and are gradually implementing a Comprehensive Patient Navigation and Check-in System for the Krnov Hospital (SZZ Krnov).
Based on an initial concept study, we have successfully deployed the first phase:
- Main entrance orientation display: Provides immediate guidance upon arrival.
- Interactive 55" wayfinding kiosks: Touchscreens with maps located at key junctions.
- E-Paper door signs (ESL): Wireless displays at clinic doors updated remotely with minimal power consumption.
- Self-service payment kiosks: Fast cash and contactless card payments.
Upcoming phases include a patient queue management system and Digital Signage for waiting rooms.
This project serves as a standardized, modular pilot model easily adaptable for any hospital. The benefits for patient comfort were also highlighted by Hospital Director and Vice-Chairman of the Senate of the Czech Republic, MUDr. Ladislav Václavec, MBA.
